What's a typical day, Rowland?
"I get up at 6.30 and drive to work thinking how great it is to be in super new offices with all the latest equipment and the best view of the marina in Swansea! Hectic is the word, but I never cease to look forward to what the day holds. Each one is different."
What's important to you?
"There's always something new and interesting going on in the South Wales area, but the important thing is being able to build on links and connections to the advantage of our clients."
You've been incredibly successful in South and West Wales. What's next?
"SA1 is proving to be such an exciting project. And the Baglan Energy Park is drawing interest from around the world. It's already formed the basis of international studies. Being part of that is thrilling."

Resume: Elected an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1983 and Fellow in 1995. Member of NARA and past President of the Swansea Business Forum. Previously employed by the Valuation Office, Swansea City Council. Formed Rowland Jones and Partners in 1991. Board member of the RICS.
